Awning Cleaning
Do you suffer from awnings that are unmaintained and damaged? Are you contemplating on whether or not to buy the supplies and clean the awnings yourself? Where are you going to pencil in this task amongst all of your other To Do's? And most importantly, when are you going to find the time? Instead of dealing with the stress of cleaning your awnings, hire America's Best Window Cleaners to do the job for you. With regular care your awnings will compliment your home's beauty by continuing to look new and last longer. Retractable or nonretractable, we recommend setting up a regular maintanence schedule to protect your investment and add longevity to your awnings.
Our process begins by inspecting the interior and exterior for tar spots, paint, sunspots, worn, torn, weak, and/or rotted areas. Then we notify the owner of the awnings condition prior to beginning the job. Our method of cleaning your awnings is by far the most superior and efficient. By using our water-fed pole we are able to efficiently feed the appropriate cleaners directly through the pole allowing a thorough cleaning of your awnings. An example of this can be seen on our before, during, and after pictures above. In the process of cleaning your awnings we remove spider webs, cob webs, mildew spots, dirt, and stubborn stains.
For the initial cleaning on vinyl and fabric material awnings that have been neglected for some time, we use Winsol Deep Clean to remove deeply embedded soils and restore the natural appearance of the awning.
Once the cleaning is complete, it is best to protect the awning with Winsol Awning Armor to penetrate and replace the important plasticizers that keep vinyl awnings soft, supple, and as colorful as the day it was installed. This will drastically improve the appearance of the awning as well as provide increased protection against sun rays, rain, and airborne pollutants.
For awnings that are not worn from the sun or rain or badly soiled, Winsol Awning Cleaner and Protectant can be used as a one step restoration process. When used with the Tucker Pole it removes light stains and dirt and leaves a protective finish.
If the awning you want to clean is acrylic fabric or canvas, we use Winsol Awning Guard 90 Plus to repel water and stains. With proper maintenance, Winsol Awning Guard 690 Plus will provide protection effectively for up to one year.
Periodic cleaning will increase the life and brilliance of your awnings. Based on your needs, we can schedule monthly, quarterly, two times per year, or yearly cleaning of your awnings. A scheduled year of service with us will save you money in comparison with the expense of purchasing new awnings to replace your unkept awnings.
Tips:
- Many awning manufactures require regular cleaning maintanence in their warranties.
- Never use a pressure washer to clean a canvas awning, as the pressure will simply embed dirt into the woven fibers.
